How to apply for a visa

You will find all relevant information on the main website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Be aware of the current restrictions on entry into Denmark. Travelers can enter Denmark only if they have a special worthy purpose.
Iran was categorized as a red country effective from 17 July 2021. This means that the list of worthy purposes for entering Denmark has been significantly reduced. Read more here:
On this background the Danish Embassy strongly advises you not to apply for a visa at present before you have closely read the very few special worthy purposes and do consider waiting for a change in the categorization of Iran.
If you have a special worthy purpose listed in the above link, you can book a time at VFS. You should be aware, however, that the service fees paid to VFS cannot be refunded regardless of the outcome of the visa application.
A visa is not a guarantee to enter Denmark. The decision on who can enter is done by the police when entering Denmark.
You are advised to call the Danish Police’s dedicated hotline regarding entry to Denmark. The hotline can be reached on +45 7020 6044
