Danish Ambassador visits Markazi Province to discuss bilateral cooperation

The Danish Ambassador in Iran, Danny Annan, visited Arak the capital of Markazi Province in Iran on April 23-24, 2017.  The visit was initiated by Arak Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture and the Governor of the province. The purpose of the visit was to explore available potentials for bilateral cooperation’s between Denmark and Markazi Province in Iran.

The Danish Ambassador met with the Deputy Governor General of Economic Affairs and Resources Development of the Province and the President of the Chamber with participation of around 100 companies. Individual meetings with Iran’s Aluminium Company, the biggest aluminium ingots manufacturer, Arak Combine Company, manufacturer of combiners for the agriculture sector, and Behsa, a pharmaceutical producer, were also carried out during the visit.

Markazi Province being an industrial and agricultural hub is ready to receive Danish delegations and send delegations to Denmark as well. Cooperation opportunities lie in agriculture, fisheries, environment solutions and renewable energies.
